Reserve Price Listings
How it works:
1. Consignor must pay The Sellery $50 cash/check deposit up front.
2. Consignor picks reserve price.
3. If no sale first time, we can relist at consignors discretion with reserve at 50% less of original or no reserve at all.
4. If sold, $50 applied to Sellery commission (standard commission applies).
5. If unsold, Sellery keeps $50.
Requirements:
Items must be valued at $500 or more for us to use a reserve price.
Starting price can also be raised to reflect items actual value. We will work together to determine a good starting price for your high end auctions.
Once auction goes live, Consignor can tell The Sellery to lower the reserve price at any time before and after you receive bids on the item. You can also tell us to remove the reserve at any time during the auction if you decide to.
NOTE: eBay never reveals reserve price to potential bidders. But sellers often receive inquiries from bidders about the reserve price. This is allowed on eBay. Likewise, revealing your reserve to a bidder is allowed, but not required. If you don’t want to reveal your reserve price, you can politely let the bidder know that they can bid what they like and if the bidding meets the reserve price the item will be sold.
